#ADVICE | 4 things to remember when you feel like giving up...

I dont really like getting too personal on my blog, just because. But this time around i think my rambling may be helpful to a few people, well i hope anyway. I know it is human nature to sink into negative feelings about life, especially us 20-somethings who are trying to carve out our perfect career, live life in the moment and save for our future all at the same time. It gets so overwhelming . Recently the feelings i have to just give up altogether are becoming a bit too frequent. Giving up is in no way a cowards way out, it takes a lot of strength to give up. I guess i should break it down a bit and let you into why i feel like giving up? I am at that stage in my life where i want my own house, my own car and my own career. I want all the things that go hand in hand with independance, so why havent i got it? All these things take time and of course money. To get a decent amount of money you need a decent job, no brainer right? So how comes i dont have a decent job? Why am...

#FASHION | ASOS shoe haul

BOUGHT? - ASOS BRAND? - NEW LOOK  PRICE?- WAS £45 NOW £33.50 THOUGHTS? - Literally one of the proudest purchases i have made! I have wanted some comfy over the knee boots for sooo long. I think its nice to have a little heel on a boot becuase it can really dress up an outfit rather than just wearing flats. I love NEW LOOK for shoes, especially heels because i am wide footed and basically all out awkward when it concerns feet and shoes! These boots are super comfy, the only thing i was worried about was if the boot would fall down because it does have a tie at the back like i know some boots have BUT dont fret, it doesnt fall down! It kind of sags a bit when you walk but not in a noticable way if that makes sense. Anyway keep your eyes peeled cos i will feature them in some #OOTD'S.   BOUGHT?- ASOS BRAND? - MISSGUIDED  PRICE? - £35 THOUGHTS? - EEK! Just look at them. By now you must think i fall in love ...with ...

#BEAUTY | e.l.f cosmetics - base makeup review

Am i being a bit rich claming e.l.f. is the best makeup brand when i havent tried a lot of other makeup brands? *covers face* ahaha id say so. Well, what i mean is i recently got some e.l.f. goodies for my birthday and i am SO impressed with them! Long story short, i havent ever found a decent foundation that doesnt make my skin look cakey or show old woman wrinkles...for ages i thought it was just my skin but NO...all this time i have been lied to.  I tried out e.l.f's flawless finish foundation in shade BUFF ( so risky buying a shade online but it fits perfectly!) it looks darker than it is just so you know. So yeah, i tried it and its a life changer full stop.  Flawless Finish Foundation  (linked ^) Price - £7.50 Cheaper than most foundations too, literally this brand is singing from the same hymn sheet as me! It is super blendable. It has a very good coverage, i thought it would be really thin but it isnt. I personally think it is the perfec...

#BEAUTY | Gerard cosmetics lipstick - underground spotlight

I have dedicated a whole post to this lipstick beacuse bascially i think im in love. Since Gerard Cosmetics launched i have wanted the whole collection, of course i would settle for one or two but i always thought the whole collection would be nice haha. Now i finally have one im championing it like its an olympic gold medal haha please dont think im mad. I have the shade UNDERGROUND  The packaging is to die forrrrrrrrr, omg, it looks like a bullet from most probably a James Bond movie right? The gold is so stunning and then you wind up the lipstick and just look at the colour.  My favourite colour from the whole collection! It is the perfect mix of nude and that brownish/grey tone which i honestly think suits every skin tone. Like i was just getting sick of wearing nude, no, im lying i never get sick of that but i just want to venture out with a new colour that isnt so out there. I dont really like wearing reds ,purples or dark browns too much throughout the ...

#HEALTH | Why eat crickets? Lets talk superfoods w/ CROBAR

Admittedly eating crickets isnt something common unless you are on a game show ....or are a lizard. If you are a lizard and are somehow reading this then i guess you already know the benefits.....but for those of the less scaley kind i will explain! As you may know from my previous posts and most probably my twitter :') i attended the blogger hangout LFW event and that is where i discovered CROBAR. Aside from the crickets which catch your attention i also think the packaging has been well thought out. It is really pleasing and fresh and the actual packet seems to keep the bar really fresh inside. So lets talk a little more about crickets are why you should eat them. The bars - ✓ Protein Packed ✓ Gluten-Free ✓ Soy-Free ✓ Paleo-Friendly ✓ Dairy-Free ✓ No added sugar    You would think with no sugar it might taste like a wet sock but you are wrong, the taste actually reminds me of dark chocolate and dried fruit with a similar texture to chris...

#OOTD | Tuxedo dress - casual & classy

Hello!! It was my birthday on the 25th, hence the balloons and banners!  It was also my blogs 1st birthday, awww, happy birthday little one!  ANYWAY...... I got this lovely tuxedo dress from inlovewithfashion.com .  With the intention of wearing it to LFW but that all went to pot because i couldnt get time off of work. I couldnt just stand by whilst it was hanging over my chair waiting to be worn any longer so i have still photographed the dress but its an inside job! I wish i could of shot it in the daylight or at an event but here is the next best thing!  Let me tell you why i love the dress first! It is either super casual and i think flower child like or super classy. I have shown you how i think that is in my photos. Lets talk through it...  Here is the look i consider classy, the look that you can dress up and wear out to a bar or meal. The dress is a blush colour which is a light pink/creamy colour. Which i t...

#REVIEW | Blogger Hangout LFW event product reviews

Further to my latest blog post about the Blogger Hangout LFW event here are my reviews of some of my favourite products ( there are just too many!!) CO-YO...yo yo hey co-yo. Im now a co-yo fangirl & not just because the guy on the stall was a charmer hehe im a big coconut lover and in yoghurt form it is a double win. The people at co-yo obviously wanted to make it a triple win and did - plenty of flavours. The flavours include vanilla, chocolate, mange, cherry and more. The yoghurt is dairy free and vegan- so all my dairy free friends you can come and enjoy it too :) it was so refreshing and tasty and you can eat it guilt free! No pesky sugars but all the taste, mmmmm. Vanilla and chocolate was my fave. ♥   Lets talk cocktails! The sex and the city kind of cocktail are my fave, the more elaborate and fruity the more i love. I have evolved as a woman in genral and swapped the vodka and coke for the more healthy and sophisticated (if i do say so myself ...
