#HOME | Curiosity Corner Candle by Crabtree and Evelyn

My name is Sarah and i am a candle addict Is there a word in the dictionary for a candle addict/lover/?..if not then there should be because its a real thing. Now, I cant say what makes the perfect candle, the smell? the packaging? the type of jar? It has to be a combo of all 3 right? I always think that it is but then over all the years and all the candles I have bought that doesn't always apply. Sometimes a candle can look so plain and bare but just have that scent that you could die for!! Im going to put it out there im not a huge fan of Yankee Candles...I only like a select few of their smells.  A few of my fave smells are smoke, musk, sandalwood, cedarwood.  fir, fig, fresh cotton, oats and honey … I could go on, but you get the jist for the smells I like The Curiosity corner candle has these top notes, cedarwood, leather and cade and they are suppose to help unleash your creativity. It smells soooooo gorgeous and if you like any of the sm...

#BEAUTY | The top 3 eyeshadow palettes for bright looks

So you're looking to create a bright az look, a kind of out of this world . popping #eotd? Then you need these 3 palettes. It isn't just the colours that are the reason but the intense creamy pigments and they way it goes smoothly on the skin.  Juvias Place Magic Palette Since I bought this beauty all I have wanted to do is use it in every makeup look, take endless photos of it and just touch it...aha yes it is really THAT good, beats me why I only have this palette and not any others from Juvias Place?! I think I may have done a separate post on this before and explained my love for it then!  Morphe 35B  This palette is a mix of shimmer and mattes, the shimmers are super creamy and similar to those of the juvias palette in texture. The mattes are equally as pigmented but just a more powder texture, but it doesn't take away from the pigment. This one pretty much has all the colours you need and is my go to palette colour. It is also a very de...

#REVIEW | You MUST binge watch these NETFLIX shows

I am now back to flicking through Netflix, deciding what to binge watch next. Once you have typed with much difficulty… psykolgifal thrilkers ….and then deleted and re typed, PHYSCOLOGICAL THRILLERS , browsed through the comedy section and realised you have seen it all or don’t fancy this or that, definitely NOT that…then its no fun anymore. So I am going to tell you what exactly YOU should be binge watching on your television, not just any television mind you…make sure its high definition, with crisp displays like the Oled TV Panasonic to get the best viewing!       *there are NO spoilers   : )* The following programmes I recommend are my personal favourites and I either became obsessed and finished the whole series in a day or 2 OR I couldn’t wait until the next episode went live :) 1.        The Sinner – Watched in a day…a day I tell you. I had the numbest bum after, but it was worth it . Jessica Biel i...

#REVIEW | Empress MIMI Lingerie Sub Box

As women, we all have certain weaknesses. I know one who can't resist pretty shoes but has nothing suitable to wear with them. Others adore frilly lingerie but never have any money to buy outer clothing. - Edith Head   Hola, As the title says I am going to review a lingerie subscription box. In the past I have reviewed beauty sub boxes but never a lingerie box, yet I think it is such a personal and unique idea. Lingerie is not something people indulge in as much as we would like, well I know I speak for myself there but I'm sure some can agree? There is something so intimate about getting lingerie in a sub box rather than just going to the shops to buy. Not only is it like a present to yourself, but it has all the fuss and fancy of the tissue wrap, the note and the luxury box. I was so impressed with this brand and their thought behind the box. I feel the whole concept is empowering to women and promotes body appreciation <3    Lingerie...

#REVIEW | Nature's Sunshine mini haul

Hey guys! I got sent these vitamins/tablets & cream from Natures Sunshine a few weeks ago, let me tell you how I got on. I picked Papaya Mint Chewable tablets, High Potency Garlic tablets and Tei - Fu massage lotion. My favourite one out of them all was probably the Papaya Mint Chewable tablets! They were super easy to take, just pop them in your mouth and chew. They didn't have a yucky taste either, they smelt very strongly of mint, the chewing gum type of mint :)  They are good for the digestive system, and can also be used to freshen breath between meals! The high potency garlic are to help the immune system, as I have read before garlic is good to help keep colds away. As it has a special coating to contain the garlic smell it is a lot easier to take, and to me I love pure garlic anyway but I really couldn't smell a strong odour. I'm not 100% if they have worked, I mean I'm sure I will take them a lot more in the coming months as it will be win...

#BEAUTY | Skincare haul with Chemist.co.uk

My continued love for all things skincare has lovingly been fulfilled by chemist.co.uk, I have teamed up with them to bring you some products that I have used before and recommend and some others I haven't and are pleasantly surprised by. I hadn't shopped at chemist.co.uk before, so my guess was they sold the kind of items you would find in a chemist. On the website there are various medicines you can buy and also skincare and toiletry items that you would usually find in a chemist but for a fraction of the price. I never normally shop in actual chemists for skincare items as they tend to be a lot more dearer than say Superdrug or a superstore but this online chemist is similar to the Superdrug prices. I guess I'm going to talk you through the bits I got now :) Derma V10 body butter (coconut) I don't usually tend to reach for body butters as I sometimes find them a little bit greasy, but it  was only right that I gave this one a try. I used it a c...

#SKINCARE | REN clarimatte range review for oily/combi skin

Hi guys! I got around to writing this post after I promised it a while back, but I had to be sure of what results I got before I recommended or said no to buying. I'm actually using my new laptop for the first time and the keyboard on this makes it so much easier :) happy Sarah haha. More news before I get on to this post, who has seen the blogger's essentials box from Dot Creates ?! I am the biggest stationary lover and everything in the box looks amazing.  Back to the REN post! I haven't previously used any REN products, so for me this was such a gamble. Tbh I hadn't really heard too much about REN but the 2 things I did like when I read more about them is 1. They are vegan friendly (aside from about 6 products) and 2. They do no test on animals. One of my things at the moment is buying makeup and skin care products that do not test on animals, so what a big plus that is. I bought this clarimatte pack as my skin tends to be oily/combo and it retails ...

#BEAUTY | Mothers Day gift guide

Mothers Day is upon us and its probably one of my favourite holidays to buy a gift, not only because my mum is one of the easiests people to buy for as we have similar tastes but just because i love seeing all the gift displays in the shops. I think if you are stuck for ideas then the best tip would be to go to a few shops and check out their displays for inspiration. One shop i would recommend is The Voewood (these pics are taken there). I may be a little bias as i do work there haha BUT as i always say i wouldnt recommend things if i truly didnt love them.  As soon as you walk in to the shop you are hit by so many relaxing and transporting smells, thats why i think even if you dont intend to buy anything (although you wont be able to resist ) its still nice to see all the colours and variety to be inspired :)  The Voewood has all the gift goals for the perfect Mothers day gift. From fancy chocolates with the likes of gingerbread, rhubarb and custard...

#FITNESS | USN Nutrition range review

Since is quit the gym (because winter equals no motivation) i have been doing little workouts here and there at home but once spring is in full motion and the sun shows his face again the running will begin! USN sent me some bits to help me stay motivated and healthy during my workouts.  Im very much a milkshake gal so i find that the milkshakes benefit me more than anything. Keeping me full before or after a workout to help with snacking less. The website offers a wide range of items so i do recommend checking it out! here I havent tried the capsules as im not a big fan of tablets in general so i did some of my own research and read some reviews and a lot of people are saying they have used these without anything else and have lost small amounts of weight. Bring on summer 2017 for the summer bod!

#MAKEUP | Spring Makeup w/ TECHNIC

Technic is one brand i love because they are super affordable and pretty damn decent. The colours of the eyeshadows really scream spring to me, they are not your typical pastel spring colours but they are shimmery and natural. A few of the colours are actually pretty good to use as just highlighters!  I tried out the chunky liner which i hadnt used before and i am such a big fan of felt tip liners anyway as they are soooo soo easy to apply, even for people who struggle with eyeliner. So i loved the way it applied and the colour was really black and not faded at all. I dont think it lasts as long as other eyeliner products but i still think its great to have in your bag if it needs to be topped up :) The best thing about this bundle for me are the lipsticks! I love the neutral/spring-y tones but also the fact that they are a matte finish <3 You can find Technic cosmetics at : LAMODA Pretty Little Thing Love thy makeup  Fragrance Direct...
