Are you looking for a place where you can sit for hours on end without feeling like you are being eye-balled by the staff that you have over stayed your welcome? Maybe a place that's like a treasure trove once you enter? Where the good times roll, and there is marvellous food to top it all off? Well look no further than this little place in the South East of London; in the heart of Blackheath there is Age Exchange! https://www.age-exchange.org.uk/ Whether is for a spot of lunch, a coffee with a friend, a place to get your work done or even just a home from home, say hello to Age Exchange.  The home of Reminiscence, this dementia arts charity has it all. From beginnings as a theatre company they evolved over the years to become the reminiscence charity they are today, offering reminiscence group activities for people living with dementia and their carers. #TRAVEL | Liverpool

Its been a month since I visited Liverpool for the first time, its only right that I share my trip :) First of its a very friendly place, but I have come to learn that most places apart from London are....sorry London but its true.  I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and I would say that it was enough time to explore the main parts of Liverpool and get a vibe for it. Im happy that I can now sing "ferry across the mersy" and constantly shout.. I've been there! I've been there! Its the little things that make it worth it aha Im a sucker for being near water and also in the city centre and the hotel I stayed which was called the tune hotel was the perfect walk away from the river as well as the city. A 5 min walk to the famous Cavern Club. Museums are a plenty and I visited them all! My fave being the museum of Liverpool, lots of interactive fun things to do and to learn. I would recommend taking a part of the day to go on the bus tours o...

Let me update you on my recent visit to Manchester ! A suprising town with so much history. You know how it is when you plan to visit somehwhere, in the back of your mind you have an inkling of what you think it will be like...well i thought Manchester was going to be an unsociable, small, in - the - middle - of -no where kinda place...how wrong i was! And that kids is why self- education is so important haha! If i never visited i would most probably still have those ignorant views (a scary thought). I found Manchester to be an open, happy, aesthetically beautiful place - as i liked to say, like London but a lot less populated. Which for a Londoner is always a welcoming thing! So be ready for a load of photos and a few tips on where to visit!  I stayed in the Salford Quays AC by Mariott hotel, which i couldnt recommend enough! I'll include some photos of that too :) Manchester Check list - Visit the Old Trafford stadium Go on a guided tour Visit some mu...

#TRAVEL | Another trip to one of my fave UK cities

The travel section is finally making a long awaited return! YAY. It can only mean one thing...i have been on my travels again. My 3rd stay in Brighton, can you tell i love it? Just a short stay in the wonderful city because sometimes christmas and new years can be too much. I love going away in the UK cos i think its a good way to culture yourself about your own country. The only thing that is a no no about the UK is the weather, especially in the new year its totally unpredictable. With 3 out of 4 days being rainy (BOOO) we tried to make the most of our trip with lots of visits to the arcade (hello Brighton pier), pubs and bars, restaurants and exploring as much of the town as we could. But i mean, isnt that just perfect? We had one long walk along the beach only, just because it was only sunny once! I wouldnt expect too much from my outfits you are about to see because my whole get up was "when will the wind stop and the cold go away i cant feel my hands" type of thing h...
