#OOTD | THE yellow shorts

We have officially said hello to summer, yay! My only question is how long will it last as it is Britain after all *daydreams of Dubai*. These shorts screamed summer, chilled vibes and no sweating. The colour ticks my box as I love a bright yellow for summer and I didn't have statement yellow piece in my wardrobe at the time. My main thing for summer is I cant sweat, I just cant do it . So when I'm looking for summer clothes comfort really has to be at the top of my list. The elasticated waist band makes them super comfy and the cool, thin material means no sweat! I paired it with this top as I cant live without a slogan T, and its also just so simple it can be paired with anything :) On a personal note, I feel things are going to change. I'm still trying hard to figure out where I want my non- existent career to go, half the battle is figuring out what I want to do and how I'm going to get there. But instead of what feels like wasting time, I have...

#BEAUTY| Hair colour restore at home w/ Scott Cornwall

As a box dye girl through and through I'm very welcoming to try new brands, colours and different coverage techniques that are offered. I got a lovely bit of blogger mail from a brand called Scott Cornwall, it came in such a beautiful box and I was the worst blogger ever and didn't take photos of the box..and if I did I just simply cant find them! Because in all truth I got this package a while ago but I wanted to wait until any other recent dyes I had on my hair had grown out so I could see the results in full effect. Now I think of it there may be a photo of the box on my blog facebook page *hmm*. As a brunette I got the chocolate brown colour but I also got a deep red colour if I was feeling like a change! I used the chocolate brown colour of course :) The dye is not permanent but instead it is a colour restore for faded hair, or I like to think its a colour that can keep your hair looking glossy and coloured in the in-between times of when you have coloure...

#BEAUTY | Skincare haul with Chemist.co.uk

My continued love for all things skincare has lovingly been fulfilled by chemist.co.uk, I have teamed up with them to bring you some products that I have used before and recommend and some others I haven't and are pleasantly surprised by. I hadn't shopped at chemist.co.uk before, so my guess was they sold the kind of items you would find in a chemist. On the website there are various medicines you can buy and also skincare and toiletry items that you would usually find in a chemist but for a fraction of the price. I never normally shop in actual chemists for skincare items as they tend to be a lot more dearer than say Superdrug or a superstore but this online chemist is similar to the Superdrug prices. I guess I'm going to talk you through the bits I got now :) Derma V10 body butter (coconut) I don't usually tend to reach for body butters as I sometimes find them a little bit greasy, but it  was only right that I gave this one a try. I used it a c...

#BEAUTY | First impressions - LIMECRIME liquid listicks

ola my lovely readers ^_^ welcome back again, this time to another beauty post. this is pretty much a first impressions posts too as I have never used any of the LimeCrime products before! exciting I know. Thanks to a lovely blogger friend of mine Amina who blogs over at www.aliandher.com I got such a bargain on these. ASOS was had 30% off some of their beauty products and these were included in that, Amina brought it to my attention via twitter sooo thank you very much for that :) instead of paying £15 each they was £11 each! I had such a hard time choosing what colours to go for, I probably researched swatches for a good 40 minutes before I went with SALEM and BUFFY . Buffy is the nude colour, and tbh I couldn't not pick a nude colour, I feel it is essential to have a nude shade from every brand possible haha Salem is a deep brown colour, I picked salem because I genuinely haven't got this colour in my lipstick collection and I felt it was...

#BEAUTY | Nouveau Lashes lash and lid foam cleanser - BEFORE AND AFTER

Merhaba everyone <3 If there is any advise I have been given from the women in my life, its always to look after the skin under your eyes and the décolletage . I suppose careful care can prevent ageing and keep the skin baby smooth. Nouveau lashes has launched a new product called the Lash and Lid foaming cleanser. As an avid user of their makeup remover, I was over the moon when they brought this to the market :) not only does it remove mascara and eye makeup but it can also be used to remove strip lashes! How cool is that?! It makes the whole idea of wearing falsies much more appealing. Its a very straight forward product to use, all you need to do is pump it on to the back of your hand; or if you are a rebel then straight on to your face ^_^ when you pump the cleanser it will come out foam form. Then simply massage the product on to your eye lids and lashes, I also used it for my  face makeup. I used the little brush at first but I did find it a little bit easier...

My love affair with Mad Men

I haven't been doing much lately, apart from Netflix-and-chillin with Mad Men. It has recently been added to Netflix so I took the opportunity to start watching it. I know it came out in 2007-2008, and when it came out I was probably too busy with my school work so by the time I was going to start watching it it was already on its 4 th season, and lets be honest what kind of monster starts watching a series from the 4 th season?! The perfect excuse to binge watch had arisen and I took full advantage. Since the day I started approx. 2 weeks ago, I haven’t been the same since. See, I made this pact with my mum (as she started watching from the second episode and took a fancy to the series also) that I wouldn’t watch it without her. Our work patterns kind of conflict some days so when I have my day off it’s so hard for me to resist watching the next episode. I think I have withdrawal symptoms. I just want to know what is going on in these people’s lives, I think I know mor...
