#BEAUTY | Grapefruit coffee scrub with Bean Burst

Hello hello! How cool is it that we can use natural everyday ingredients like coffee to cleanse our skin?

I got sent this wonderful smelling package from Bean Burst and im going to share with you my messy results haha
I picked the grapefruit scented one, which to my suprise smelt just like grapefruit with a tad bit of orange and also smelt like chocolate. The coffee smell of course was there and strong but the blend of it all together smelt edible.

Why grapefruit?

"Grapefruit Essential Oil stimulates the body and mind. Its antiseptic and antioxidant properties boost the immune system by fighting free radicals and protecting the body from toxins. This uplifting oil helps to alleviate stress and clear congested skin."

I used my scrub in the bath (the messy option) LOL but i did feel like it refreshed my skin after i used it and it also felt nice on my skin!

I applied it to my damp hands and then i rubbed it all over my body and face and let it sit for a few minutes. It smelt DIVINE! Then i continued to rub it off and in to my skin. It left my skin really smooth and kinda of oily, not like drenached in oil but as if it had added back the moisture and oils my body had lost!

Here are some benefits of the ingredients!

Caffeine: Antioxidant. Tightens. Firms.
Himalayan pink salt: Anti-microbial. Antiseptic. Healing properties.
Coconut Oil: Anti-ageing. Anti-bacterial. Moisturiser. Vitamin E.
Apricot Kernel Oil: Anti-inflammatory. Antioxidant. Vitamin E. High in fatty acids.
Jojoba Oil: Regulates skin PH. Anti-inflammatory. Vitamin B and E.
Marula Oil: Antioxidant. High in Vitamin C. Healing properties.
Grapefruit Oil: Anti-septic. Anti-depressant. Antioxidant. Boosts immune system. Relieves stress.

I love using this as part of my skin routine as it slips into it real easy!

Will you be trying this ?

xoxo

#BEAUTY | SBC gels

One of my favourite ingredients for my skin, especially dry skin is manuka honey. So i tried out some of the honey products from the SBC Gels and havent stopped using them. They have replaced my usual products. So lets have a product break down! The manuka honey and orange blossom scrub has really fine bits in it which are very helpful for exfoliating, but as a they are super fine it is a lot more nicer to  use than some products that have the larger exfoliating bits in them!   Manuka honey & orange blossom body butter - as you have guessed by the name this is a body butter! They dont tend to be my go to product as i dont really like the consistancy. I love the smell of this, its so fragrent. After i have used the shower wash i either use this or the gel to get me some soft soft skin! These two are my favourite from the honey selection. There is the bath and shower gel (on the left) and the skincare gel . The bath and shower gel smells so strongly of hone

#TRAVEL | Liverpool

Its been a month since I visited Liverpool for the first time, its only right that I share my trip :) First of its a very friendly place, but I have come to learn that most places apart from London are....sorry London but its true.  I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and I would say that it was enough time to explore the main parts of Liverpool and get a vibe for it. Im happy that I can now sing "ferry across the mersy" and constantly shout.. I've been there! I've been there! Its the little things that make it worth it aha Im a sucker for being near water and also in the city centre and the hotel I stayed which was called the tune hotel was the perfect walk away from the river as well as the city. A 5 min walk to the famous Cavern Club. Museums are a plenty and I visited them all! My fave being the museum of Liverpool, lots of interactive fun things to do and to learn. I would recommend taking a part of the day to go on the bus tours o
