#TRAVEL | Liverpool

Its been a month since I visited Liverpool for the first time, its only right that I share my trip :)
First of its a very friendly place, but I have come to learn that most places apart from London are....sorry London but its true.
I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and I would say that it was enough time to explore the main parts of Liverpool and get a vibe for it.

Im happy that I can now sing "ferry across the mersy" and constantly shout..
I've been there!
I've been there!
Its the little things that make it worth it aha

Im a sucker for being near water and also in the city centre and the hotel I stayed which was called the tune hotel was the perfect walk away from the river as well as the city. A 5 min walk to the famous Cavern Club.

Museums are a plenty and I visited them all! My fave being the museum of Liverpool, lots of interactive fun things to do and to learn.

I would recommend taking a part of the day to go on the bus tours of which you can jump on at many areas, the little tit bits of info about Liverpool are what I thrive on. A great way to get to know the city in a short amount of time.

The Albert Docks are a sure place to visit. A beautiful industrial history, some museums near by including the titanic and slave museum and lots of places to eat!

The shopping centre area is masssssive and its literally got every shop you can think off. Also full of buskers every day and during the evening :)

If you are looking for some nightlife there is a mini strip near the cavern club and nearby is also a Wetherspoons which is great for some breaky!

Whether you are going for the night life, a mini break or just to first hand see a new place I think Liverpool should be on everyone's list.

#BEAUTY | Faux Mink Lashes for a Natural/Flattering Look

Lashes don't always have to be worn just for a dramatic effect, they can also be worn to accentuate your eye in a natural yet defining way. I don't wear falsies everyday ( if you do..how do you do it?!) but sometimes when my mood permits me to wear them on an average day I go for a natural/wispy lash or just an accent lash for the outer part of my eye. Buying lashes isn't as an easy job as you may think, you really have to consider the brand due to mink lashes! Luckily I can present to you a brand which have just brought out a line of faux mink lashes as well as their other natural lashes. From fluffy, natural and salon style see how you can get the look below!
All lashes from Kiss

Faux Mink - LBD Lash

Give me all the Hollywood starlet glam! I cant help but feel like Audrey Hepburn or Elizabeth Taylor in these lashes. They are fluffy, wispy yet add a little drama. This lash can be re-used up to 10 times if you look after them im sure they will last even longer than that. They have a beautiful soft curl and add so much volume

So Natural

The Iconic lashes are super light and natural and add a touch of oomf. They have a tapered end to make them look more natural and feel comfortable on the lash line. If these are applied really well ( not like mine aha) then I reckon no one would be able to tell that you are wearing falsies

The Flirty Lash

The sister to the Ardell Demi Wispies, which were my favourite for the longest time!!!! They remind me so much of them. Mind my awful application but these lashes are super flirty, fun and wispy. Again these look so natural I wouldn't be able to tell if they were false or not. The multi angle technology in the lashes really help to give a 3D look and not make them a flat or dull curl.

Salon lash without the salon!

In my eyes these look sooooo much like salon lashes! Individual or cluster lashes, believe it or not I have a NVQ in Beauty Therapy and applying individual lashes was one of the modules. So believe me when I tell you they look like salon lashes aha these ones are the most dramatic of the 4 pairs and would probably be stunning for a night out to take your eyes from natural to effortless drama and salon lash realness!

What are your favourite pairs?

Im struggling so hard to pick because these lashes are literally all me, I will wear them all! Im torn between the LBD and the lily ones.

I will also feature some of these in makeup looks on my Instagram, so keep an eye out :)

You can also shop the lashes in store at boots and Superdrug

#BEAUTY | Effortless and Drastic glow for under £10!

Recently I got sent some amazing glow products from my faves over at essence. For me nothing beats glowy, rosy skin all year round but especially in the summer. There was one stand out product for me, but all in all you cant go too wrong with any of these products because they are so affordable!

These little chubb sticks really pack on the glow! Its so annoying that the one I want to really show up on camera doesn't! The swatch you can see is the HOLO WOW stick which is for those who are not afraid to have a very bright holographic highlight or equally as good for specific makeup looks e.g. drag makeup, futuristic makeup. If you want a real effortless  glow, you need the 3D DEWY LOOK, it kind of feels like an oil when you apply it but its not sticky or smudgy - it stays exactly where you place it and is amazing on top of cheekbones!

If you want to intensify your glow even more, then add a little bit of highlight above your brows, on your nose and cupids bow. As you can see from the swatches
the pigment is really nice, its a little bit powdery but if you go in with a little bit and add it slowly then it doesn't end up too powdery.

To go even further and create the futuristic look, these holographic blues and purples are it! The lip-gloss can also be a bit of fun to spice up and everyday outfit ;) I mean for most things to be under £5 its just a no brainer!
